Description

Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302, an additional line item to Contract DADA13-00-D-0004 with Bio Rad Laboratories. This line item will be added to the current first option year and the remaining three option years that are left on the contract. The line item is for an estimated quantity of 54 each per year, Bio Rad's Glycosolated Hemaglobin Test Kits, catalog number 270-0600. This item is for use on the Bio Rad variant analyzer. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 days of publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
