Description

The Acquisition Management Department, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland has a requirement for the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced standing order to DAKO Corporation 6392 Via Real Carpinteria, CA 93013. A complete list of reagents will be made available upon request which includes the use of two (2)Model S3400 Autostainer Universal Staining Systems with ownership of one (1)of the systems to be turned over to NNMC in May 2002 and the other system's ownership to be turned over at the end of the third (3)year. Items will be shipped quarterly. Award will be made in the form of of a commercial purchase order for the period 1 October 2001 through 30 September 2002. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competititive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY02 funding.
