Description

The VA Puget Sound Healthcare System, Seattle, Washington, has a requirement for Readjustment Counseling Service in the Kitsap/North Mason County/Everett, Washington, area. Contract service is defined as counselors, individually or in groups, specifically directed at social, psychological or behavioral problems, which bear a distinct relationship to the process of readjustment from military duty, during the Vietnam Era, Persian Gulf, etc., to civilian life. Contract services will be provided to eligible veterans referred by the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. Term of the Contract will be December 1, 2001, through September 30, 2002, with provisions for four one-year options. Solicitation packages will be available on or about October 1, 2001. Offers will be due on or about November 1, 2001. The solicitation will be available for download at no charge via the VA Business Opportunities System website at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and no hard copies will be provided by the VA. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted at the website. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and amendments.
