Description

The Immigration & Naturalization Service (INS) is seeking quotes from firms interested in providing Canadian statutory minimum liability insurance (Canadian Non-Resident Inter-Province Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance, or equivalent) for approximately 295 US Government owned vehicles. This is insurance for vehicles while operating in Canada on official business for the US Immigration & Naturalization Service and/or US Border Patrol. US Government vehicles operating in the United States are self-insured. Please note that NO insurance will be required for these same vehicles while operating in the United States. All quotes will be in US Dollars, and all payments will be made in US Dollars. Period of performance will be 10/01/2001 through 09/30/2002. The distribution of this solicitation will be accomplished primarily through the General Services Administration's (GSA) Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPPS) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The FEDBIZOPPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through the GSA site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the GSA site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
