United States Naval Academy Conference on Information Technology Thursday, October 11, 2001 Annapolis, MD Please note: The times of the exposition are 8:45 AM -- 2:00 PM. The United States Naval Academy, the Office of Naval Research, the USNA Class of '48 and the Computer Science Department will sponsor the first Naval Academy Conference on Information Technology at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD October 10-11, 2001. This free conference will be open to the general public and no registration is required. The conference will immediately precede Homecoming Weekend and the Annapolis Boat Show. The Naval Academy Conference on Information Technology will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on current and future uses of information technology in naval operations and defense strategy, and the implications for the education of midshipmen at USNA. The conference will bring together the midshipmen, officers, faculty and alumni of USNA with current leaders in the Navy, academia and industry to explore how information technology has changed and is changing both how we operate, and the environment in which we operate.
