REQUEST FOR QUOTATION General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: F01620-01-R0033 Classification Code: 70 General Purpose Information Technology Equipment Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The proposed procurement will be conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 421430 is based on the size standard of 500 employees. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (Oct 2000); FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Oct 2000); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 2001); FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items: the following numbered subparagraphs under paragraph (b) of this apply: (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (20) (21) (23) (26). Copies of FAR clauses 52.212-3 and 52.212-5 are available in full text by request. Award will be based on the responsive responsible bidder. HQ SSG/PKO seeks quotes for the following: Two (2) Servers with following specifications: P-III XEON 700 MHZ w/ 1 MB L2 Cache Processors, Qty 4; 512MB 133Mhz SDRAM DIMMs, Qty 3; 36GB 10K Ultra3 WD SCSI-3 HS Hard Drives, Qty 3; LH 3000 & 6000 Redundant Power Supply, Qty 2; Dual Port NIC Card, Qty 1; Windows 2000 Server OS, must be rack mountable, and must be on Interactive Intelligence Inc.'s Certified Server List for CIC 1.3 SR-C. Also required, Aculab Prosody PCI cards with 2 DSPs, Qty 4; T-1 Quad Port Modules for PCI, Qty 4; DSP Prosody Sharc Modules, Qty 6; ATT DSP32 with 4 DSPs for PCI, Qty 10; T-1 Quad Port Adapters, Qty 7; Adtran 48 port channel banks, Qty 9; T-1 Switch Cards for Dataprobe, Qty 13; and T-1 Cables -10', Qty 60. We have the following Hardware to Trade in towards the above: Alliance CTS9000 EIC Certified Industrial Platform Server, Qty 1; Prosody PCI Card with 2 DSP's, Qty 1; T-1 Quad Port Module for PCI, Qty 1; ATT DSP32 with 4 DSP's for PCI, Qty 1; T-1 Quad Port Adapter, Qty 1; 48 Port channel banks, Qty 2; and CSU for EIC Certified Industrial Platform, Qty 4. All parts to be purchased must be new, backed by the manufacturer's warranty, and supplied by authorized resellers. All responsible quotes are due NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM CST on 25 September 2001.
