The Government intends to procure a commercial contract (FAR Part 12)for the Maintenance and Repair of the Alcon Phaco 20K Legacy System, located at the VA Outpatient Clinic, Los Angeles, California. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The solicitation is to be issued on or about October 2, 2001, with offers due on or about October 24, 2001.
