Description

The equipment will be used in Heber Valley, Utah between Deer Creek Reservoir and Jordanelle Dam. The terrains consist of cobbles, boulders, trees, and brush. Water will be encountered on most of the project. The contractor is to provide heavy construction equipment for anticipated rent/lease periods in excellent condition, deliver to jobsite whenever required, provide periodic routine maintenance, and provide immediate repair or replacement of equipment if malfunctions. All equipment must meet applicable SAE, OSHA, and Reclamation Safety requirements. Provide quality of services, timeliness, courtesy, perform and provide customer satisfaction. The contract will include a base year, with 4 one-year options. FAR Clause 52.217-8 is to be included in this solicitation, so that the Government may extend the contract performance by 6 months. The work will be preformed under NAICS CODE: 532412 Equipment Rental. This procurement is a Commercial Item-Request for Proposals. This solicitation will be available in hard copy only and will be available approximately September 28, 2001. The cost for the solicitation is $20.00 each.
