Description

The FAA, Eastern Region has a requirement to 1)install and transport 4000 ft. of Government furnished cable from East Meadow, NY and to JFK International Airport, Jamaica, NY, 2) Cut existing 4" RGS conduit at abandoned localizer shelter and install new 4" RGS conduit into existing localizer shelter, 3) install 2" RGS conduit from unmarked manhole adjacent to the 13L glide slope demarcation box, 4) install pull lines and install Government furnished cable in Port Authority ductwork, 5) splice and test cable, 6) provide report. This project is estimted to be between $100,000 and $125,000. The Screening Information Request is being sent to the following prequalified vendors: INS Electric, Brentwood, NY, Helmman Electric, Whitestone, NY, and RP Densen, Little Ferry, NJ. Interested contractors within a 100 mile radius of JFK Airport, Jamaica, New York, may request a copy of the SIR by faxing a request to Nadene Fontano, at (718) 995-5685. Please note there is a short turnaround on this project and offers are due in September 26, 2001. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price to select the greatest value or "best buy" offer. Therefore, award may be made to ther than the lowest price offered.
