THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR GENERATOR SETS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional requirements that were excluded from the original posting of this synopsis. ENGINE:Cooling: Heat Exchanger with Lube Oil Cooler, Auxiliary Sea Water Pump, Jacket Water Pump, Expansion Tank, Thermostats and Housing. Air Intake: Single-stage dry air cleaner w/service indicator. Compressed Air Starting. Fuel System: Priming and Transfer Pumps, Filter, Flexible Lines. Electronic Governor Control. Exhaust: Muffler and Associated Pipes and Fittings. Safety: Low Lube Oil Pressure Shut Down, High Water Temperature Shutdown and Over Speed Shutdown. Low oil pressure and high water temperature alarms. Panel mounted instruments providing fuel pressure, lube oil pressure, raw water pressure, jacket water temperature, tachometer and service indicator. Offer due date is extended to 4:00 p.m. EDT, 21 September 2001. =20
