Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, as supplemented with additional information. This requirement is sole source for: CLIN 0001, AVAYA IP 600 Telephone Switch to include installation and configuration. The switch is comprised of the following: 40 digital subscriber ports (Merlin hybred STUIII digital feature phone compatible); 8 analog subscriber ports (for FAX, alarms, and other standard telephone interface requirements); 40 ISDN Basic 2B+D subscriber ports (future STE interface), phone indication (ring or display) of what trunk (or at least trunk source) a call is coming in on, and/or call attendant software; Voice mail for all subscribers; 12 two way trunks (actually single number FX OPXs, but hopefully trunks in the future) over a fractional T1; Interface ability for the present 12 trunks over an ISDN PRI line (convert the present fractional T1 trunks to run over the ISDN PRI to enable STE ISDN interface; 8 local two-way trunks; External management and configuration interface (connected only when there is a requirement); Call forwarding, call pickup, call waiting; Automatic callback and automatic saved redial; Music-on-hold; Nite ring to paging system; No answer ring to pager system; Caller ID; Trunk hunting groups; IP interface for remote and local trunks and subscribers; Multiple flexible trunk groupings; Multiparty conferencing (minimum 3 parties); Statistics and records accessible through a terminal; Administrative position that allows limited switch and call control; Capability to lock out all possible switch control over IP connections; Use of and crossconnection from new blocks to existing telephone subscriber cabling; Fiber 10BaseFL to 10BaseT media converter or adaptor for LAN connection; Option for a half cabinet for installation/mounting of the IP 600. Options for switch maintenance and configuration; Installation and configuration of the switch for the stations and trunks. The location of this project is Linthicum, MD 21090. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Award will be based on technical compliance with the above requirement, past performance and price (Best Value).
