Description

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL-SSC) intends to negotiate a contract on the basis of Other Than Full and Open Competition IAW 10 USC 2304(c)(1). NRL will negotiate with Titan Systems Corporation, Pulse Science Division, San Leandro, CA., for the acquisition, disassembly, shipment, re-assembly, and optimization of the Kalif-Helia state of the art inductive voltage adder(IVA) pulsed-power generator. The Kalif-Helia was designed and built by PSI to carry out Light Ion ICF studies. The system requirement includes- CLIN 0001: The Kalif-Helia IVA Pulsed-Powered Generator. CLIN 0002: Disassembly and Packing of the Kalif-Helia. CLIN 0003: Shipment of the generator to NRL, Washington, DC facility. CLIN 0004: Assembly of the generator at a designated NRL-DC site, CLIN 0005: Optimization of the generator's performance and demonstration of operation in both negative and positive polarity, CLIN 0006: All documentation, manuals, drawings, schematics and reports. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above services shall fully identify their interest and submit their capabilities to meet the above requirements within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis. Responses received after 15 days or without the required information will be considered to be non-responsive to the synopsis and not be considered. No telephone requests will be accepted in response to this notification. Only written information received directly from requestors will be considered.
