Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAIALABLE. (ii) Solicitation number N00104-01-Q-Q819 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. (iv) This acquisition is not set aside for small business concerns. (v) NAVICP intends to procure commercially available Information Technology equipment for the Joint Engineering Data Management Information and Control System (JEDMICS) at Rock Island Arsenal, Illinois. (vi) The equipment includes: 0001: Convert Rimage Autostar 4X to Autostar 2000 (Recorder #1 and Del GXI PC), System 1, P/N 210632-003; 0002: Convert Rimage Autostar 4X to Autostar 2000 (Recorders #2, #3, & #4), System 1, P/N 210632-003; 0003: Warranty Upgrade to Rapid Exchange, System 1, P/N 161221-004; 0004: Installation and Integration, System 1; 0005: Convert Rimage Autostar 4X to Autostar 2000 (Recorder #1 and Del GXI PC), System 2, P/N 210632-003; 0006: Convert Rimage Autostar 4X to Autostar 2000 (Recorders #2, #3, & #4), System 2, P/N 210632-003; 0007: Convert Rimage CD Printer to Color, System 2, P/N 210634-001; 0008: Warranty Upgrade to Rapid Exchange, System 2, P/N 161221-004; 0009: Installation and Integration, System 1; (vii) Delivery is no later than 15 October 2001, FOB destination (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (AUG 1998), applies to this acquisition. (ix) The Government will award a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest line-item price and total amount, technically acceptable quote and conformance with delivery schedule. (x) Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (FEB 1999) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (NOV 95) with offers. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (MAR 1998), is incorporated by reference. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (APR 1998), applies to this acquisition. (xii) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (JAN 1999), applies to this acquisition. (xiii) Not applicable.
