Description

The United States Army Intelligence Center and Ft Huachuca, Arizona, has an immediate need to identify commercial off-the-shelf technology and research and development efforts for Machine Language Translation, both voice and text. A Machine Language Trans lation system needs to be highly mobile, capable of translating and interpreting a variety of languages, both oral (spoken) and textual (written). The system must have the capability to interpret voice to voice and translate text to text, voice to text or text to voice. An objective system will need to be handheld, wearable and desktop compatible. It should be designed such that new languages can be added in a short time without major new work effort.
