Description

B-The U . S . Dept of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Ocean Services, (NOS), National Marine Sanctuaries, (NMS) wishes to secure the services for the following: as a National outreach and education coordinator for all coral reef related efforts in the National Marine Sanctuary Program. Specific Support Requirements; Develop a general coral reef information packet in coordination with Federal, State and Territorial partners. Create a database and clearing house mechanism to aid in distribution of current and future outreach products. Work to produce a series of public service announcements, video resources media materials and display materials. Serve as the liaison among NGO partners, government partners and private sector partners to ensure joint program development. Support NMSS, NOS, NOAA and USCRT efforts for coral reef educational activities. This position develops and executes national and local outreach programs relating special events. Plans, organizes, executes and evaluates comprehensive nationwide media campaigns on coral reefs including targeted campaigns to further the goals and mandates of NOS.
