Description

This announcement is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to an approved sole source contractor in accordance with AFFAR 5313.106-1(a). The sole source contractor is Dade Behring, 1717 Deerfield Rd., Deerfield, IL, and the requirement is for a Microbiology analyzer Rental Reagent Agreement. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the required services. However, any contractors who believe that they have the capability to meet this requirement may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability that addresses all the customer?s requirements. The Reagent/Rental Agreement must include at a minimum: Microbiology analyzer/scanner, all reagents & supplies, annual preventative maintenance, emergency repair, parts, labor, travel, software upgrades, and 24/7 call-in assistance/troubleshooting service. Offers are due by NLT 3:00 MST on 26 Sep 01. If no favorable offers are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source.
