Description

NASA/GSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ)5-33183-0000/946 for a mcemax-combination mce/emaxp series motor tester, dc motor testing module (MCE), insulation system and probes. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 421820 and 500 EMPLOYEES. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ5-33183 is on or about 10/5/2001 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about 11/5/2001. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". All quotations received from a Small Business will be considered.
