Description

The Contracts Dept. of FISC San Diego intends to award a sole source contract to Aqua Tech Enterprises, P.O. Box 1146, Galt, CA, for the acquisition of 15,000 pounds of PPG Blue Accu Tablets. Tablets are used in special feeders to dose chloriine into base pools. The feeders are made by PPG and utilize the specific tablets. Tablets are used to disinfect the base pools and maintain a free chlorine residual. This procurement is for the base pools located at Naval Air Station, Lemoore, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contracting action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the p urpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This procurement action is being conducted under FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. See Note(s) 22.
