Description

This is a sole source, combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. This is for the purchase of two Ascom Hasler Intelitouch Mailing systems, Model INTELSYS03; and will include storage consoles, client network card/cable, power conditioner, shipping, installation, 90-day warranty and 12 months of maintenance to commence immediately following the warranty period. This non-competitive procurement action will be processed in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR 13 and FAR 6.301-1 (Only one responsible source). This equipment must integrate with existing Ascom iMCM proprietary software and equipment, therefore a firm fixed price purchase order will be awarded to National Mailing Systems (1749 Old Meadow Road, McLean, VA) which is the only authorized Ascom Hasler dealer in the Washington Metro area. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable clauses in affect through FAC 97-27, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1.
