Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. N00421-01-R-0418 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) utilizing simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13. The incorporated document and provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.27. This combined synopsis/solicitation also serves as a notice of intent to negotiate with AMF Bowling Products Inc., 8100 AMF Drive, Mechanicsville, VA 23111, under the authority in FAR 6.301-1. Products required are listed as follows: Of CLIN 0001 XL Pinspotters Special for 2000 (P/N Model 82/90) (qty of 12). CLIN 0002 XL Pinspotters Spare Parts Kits (P/N 82/90) (qty. of 1). CLIN 0003 Options Masking Units Lower Tier Only (P/N 612-600-005) (qty. of 6). CLIN 0004 New Kickbacks Right Hand (P/N 610-495-012) (qty. of 12). CLIN 0005 New Kickbacks Left Hand (P/N 610-495-013) (qty. of 12). Price to include Installation of new equipment and removal of government owned existing equipment.=20 This procurement will be F.O.B. Mechanicsville, VA and delivered to Receiving Office, Morale and Welfare Recreation, Naval Air Station, Bldg. 458, Patuxent River, MD 20670-5441: M/F Rodney Loftus. The contractor shall deliver CLINs 0001 thru 0005 by 30 October 2001. Inspection and acceptance shall be made at destination. FAR 52.212-1 INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS ? COMMERICAL ITEMS (Aug 1998) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. Evaluation shall be based on technical capability. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items applies to this acquisition. Offeror shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS I ? COMMERICAL ITEM (JAN 2001) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Nov 1995) with proposals. FAR 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS ? COMMERICAL ITEMS (MAY 2000) is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. FAR 52-212-5 CONTRACTOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT STATUTES OR EXECUTIVES ORDERS ?
