- Description
- The Government is soliciting firms to quote using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items (Services) UPDATED HISTORY (1976-2001) OF THE ST. PAUL DISTRICT, U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS. The contractor shall perform all research necessary to prepare in a scholarly, professional manner, a twenty-six year update of the existing published history of the St. Paul District (Merritt, 1979, Creativity, Conflict & Controversy: A History of the St. Paul District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers). The updated history shall be composed of a narrative presentation with appropriate illustrations, footnotes, bibliography, and appendices. The final product will be a publishable manuscript. Key study personnel must meet the Secretary of the Interior's professional qualifications standards for historians, which is a graduate degree in History or closely related field (Public History, American History, American Studies), plus a minimum of two years of full-time professional experience; or a bachelor's degree in history or closely related field plus a minimum of four years of full-time professional experience. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541990; Small Business Size Standard is $5 million. It is anticipated that RFQ: DACW37-01-Q-0082 will be posted to the US Army Corps of Engineers St. Paul District World Wide Web site on or about October 22, 2001. Ordering of the RFQ shall be made by registering for it at the above web site. An unofficial version of the solicitation will be posted on the District's website. HOWEVER, ANY FORTHCOMING AMENDMENTS WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE ON THIS WEB SITE. E-MAIL NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE SENT UPON ISSUANCE OF ANY AMENDMENTS TO ALL REGISTERED FIRMS. DUE TO E-MAIL MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS MAY NOT BE RELIABLE BASED ON SYSTEM CONSTRAINTS, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT EACH REGISTERED FIRM CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.
