Description

The U. S. Coast Guard Civil Engineering Unit Juneau plans to issue a Request for Quotation for the procurement of services to dive, recover, and dispose of Aids to Navigation (ATON) batteries at various navigation sites in coastal Alaska. The proposed contract action is for Indefinite Delivery requirements type services the Government intends to acquire as a commercial service item using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The NAICS Code 561990 is assigned. The size standard is 5.0 million dollars. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be October 5, 2001) from the Government-wide Electronic Posting System website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on that website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time quotes are due.
