Description

The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to Infotec Systems Corporation, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through Solicitation 4TNF17017099. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-42. Only one responsible source, Infotec Systems Corporation, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to provide upgrade and installation of a security system for the NCTS Complex buildings. This installation includes access control for 11 doors and camera surveillance for 13 areas. Provision of materials, installation, testing and employee training are inclusive in the scope of work for this project. The proposed contract action is for products and related services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by close of business, 10/04/01, will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
