Description
DESC: This is a combined synopsis/slicitaton for comercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The service is for; item 0001. Furnish and install carpet in various buildings (five buildings) aboard MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. 92055. Contractor to remove and dispose of existing carpet (no asbestos in carpet). Carpet style is Studio 26 oz. level loop olefin, commercial loop, color; Riverrock,041 with unitary backing. Manufacturer; Coronet Industries. Quantity is for Bldg 1491; 80 2/3 yds, glue down installation. Bldg 1493; install 551 yds and remove 551 yds of rubber back carpet. Bldg 1494; install 599 yds of carpet and remove 599 yds of rubber back ca rpet. Bldg 1495; install 599 carpet and remove 599 yds rubber back carpet. Bldg 1496; install 599 yds carpet and remove 599 rubber back carpet. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 97-27 and DAC 91-13. This is a 100% small business set aside under simplified acquisition procedures, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 442210 and the small business standard size is $5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quote by providing descriptive literature of how your product meets the needs of the Government; past performance of at least two recent references where the Contractor has sold the same product. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following f actors shall be used to evaluate quotations: 1) price, 2) technical and 3. Past performance. Only bidsin the competitive range will be considered for award. All Contractors submitting a quote are reminded that you must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database to be considered for award.
