- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services for male and female Federal offenders in the Geographically-Defined District which includes Central Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley, California areas. The geographic district incorporating this area is more precisely defined as follows: North: Its Northern Border is defined by Interstate Highway 210 between interstate Highway 405 and Interstate Highway 605. West: Its Western Border is defined by Interstate Highway 405/Pacific Ocean between Interstate Highway 210 and Slauson Avenue. South: Its Southern Border is defined by Slauson Avenue between Interstate Highway 405/Pacific Ocean and Interstate Highway 605. East: Its Eastern Border is defined by Interstate 605 between Interstate Highway 210 and Slauson Avenue. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, "Community Corrections Center (CCC) dated August 2001." This is a firm-fixed unit price indefinite-quantity type contract. The services are estimated to be 76% male and 24% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Line Items One, Two and Three is minimum 10,585 (males) , 2,190 (females) and maximum 19,345 (males), 6,205 (females) for the base year, option year one, two and three, respectively. Multiple awards may be made if doing so is economically advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about October 19, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of the solicitation is December 18, 2001. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. No collect calls will be accepted.
