Description

The VA VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Consolidated Contracting Center (RMCCC)anticipates issuing a Commercial Items Request For Proposals (RFP)in accordance with FAR 12.203 and FAR 15, to provide Medical Transcription Services for the following VA VISN 19 Medical facilities; The VA VISN 19 Central Colorado Health Care System (VACCHCS 19)Denver, Colorado; VA Medical Center's Grand Junction, Colorado, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and direct supervision in furnishing the required services. This is to includes all labor, support (connectivity), materials, and direct supervison for any/or all Government owned equipment. Offers shall be considered only from offerors who are regularly established in the business called for and who can provide evidence of financial responsibility. VA VISN 19 is committed to assuring that a maximum practical opportunity is provided to small, HubZone small, small disadvantaged, and women owned small business concerns to participate in the performance of this contract consistant with efficient performance. VA VISN 19 expects any subcontracting plan submitted pursuant to FAR 52.219-9 (OCT 2000), "Small Business Subcontracting Plan", to reflect this committment (applies to other than small business). Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Buisness Concerns, FAR 52.219-4 (JAN 1999) has been inserted into the solicitation (applies to other than small buisness). Responsible offeror's shall provide evidence of capability to upload directly into the Dept. of Veterans Affairs VistA/CRPS HIMS/Radiology Packages. The VA VISN 19 minimum needs cannot be met by transcription processing through third party owned and operated Internet Platforms not under the exclusive control of the transcribing contractor. The following provisions and clauses apply plus any additional addenda: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items; 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; 52-212.4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52-212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions to Implement Statues or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. NAIC code is 561410. Contract period is from November 15, 2001 or date of award if subsequent thereto, through November 14, 2002 with three one-year renewal options.
