Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Motorola Inc, Radio Systems, 8220 E. Roosevelt St. M/D R7222, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. This sole source award will be made to purchase a VHF/UHF radio package. Motorola URC-200 Line-of-Sight (LOS)Products. The package includes the URC-200 VHF/UHF transceiver, UAC-300 AC Power Supply, UIB-100 Interface Box, URM-100 Rack Mount, UPA-50 50 watt power amplifier, UVU-200 Base Station Antenna, URF-B61-050 Heliax Antenna Cable. Motorola Model #PRM-500, Part #01-P35849M001. Only one source is currently known and this agency knows no other supplies that will satisfy the requirement. Alternatives to the VHF/UHF radio package listed above may be considered with a written response. The response must be accompanied by clear and convincing evidence that comparable items are available. Motorola delivery date is 60 days or less. Any contractor that can provide this item or an acceptable equal with a faster delivery date is requested to call the contracting officer immediately. The desired delivery date is 3 days. If no affirmative written response(s) are received within 3 days after publicaton of this notice, a sole source contract with Motorola Inc. will be pursued.
