Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a paper copy of the solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is restricted to 100% small business concerns and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. NAICS is 561720, small business size standard is $12M. Request For Quote (RFQ) is requested for the following nonpersonal service for period of performance 01 Oct 01-30 Sep 02 with an additional option year 1 Oct 02 -- 30 Sep 03, for custodial service to accomplish cleaning tasks meeting the statement of work (SOW) requirements. Contractor must quote on all items in the SOW -- FOB: Destination, for delivery to Bldg 3107, 203 Norton St., San Antonio TX 78226-1848. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Note that all FAR clauses can be obtained by accessing the Internet at www.farsite.hill.af.mil. Note that 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference, and FAR 52.252-6 Authorized Deviations in Clauses apply to this acquisition. In addition, the clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract terms and conditions required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable: FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for special disabled and Vietnam Era Veterans; Far 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers, FAR 52.225-1, Buy American Act -- Balance of Payments Program, FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, Central Contractor Registration. All interested parties must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, and must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 & 252.232-7009. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr2000.com or by calling 1-888-227-2423. The CCR number must be obtained before award can be made. Also, include a completed copy of the provision at. Award will be based on meeting the requirement, evaluation of lowest price, and responsible offer/quote.
