Description

The Navy is interested in leasing space in Building 3874 at Naval Air Station, Pensacola, FL. Building 3874 consists of approximately 38,879 gross square feet of space. The building, constructed in 1994, is equipped for use as a cold storage facility. It contains 5 sections: 1 refrigerator (17,808 SF); 1 freezer (8,069 SF); and 3 coolers (1,215 SF each). There are 2 mechanical rooms that are currently set up for the equipment needed for a cold storage facility. There is a large loading dock with truck access. The loading dock also contains 2 ramps for easy transportation of the material. The building contains ammonia-type refrigeration equipment; however, the refrigerant has been removed. The equipment was new at the time of layaway in 1995. The proposed lessee will also be responsible for paying all utilities and maintenance costs on the building.
