Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13 and the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The government intends to acquire on a sole source basis from Alcatel/Newbridge, Chantilly, VA 20151, due Alcatel/Newbridge able to provide spares to ensure full operatinal status of TACTS and additional systems. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number RFQ N00244-01-T-1319 applies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DFARS Change Notice 20010911. The NAICS code is 334419 and the business size standard is 750 people.
