Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bei ng requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed-price, commercial contract is anticipated. This requirement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 33 1221 with a size standard of 1000 employees. A quick delivery time is requested for this procurement. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items (JAN 1999) applies to this acquisition. Paragraph a. of this provision is c ompleted as follows: i) Time of delivery (most important); ii) Price (least important). Award may be made to other than low offeror, based on best value as evaluated against the previously stated factors. The contractor s quote shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 -- RHA Armor Plate, Class 1, MIL-A-12560, Size: 4 x 72 x 144 , Quantity: 1 Each. CLIN 0002 -- RHA Armor Plate, Class 1, MIL-A-12560, Size: 3/4 x 72 x 72 , Quantity: 3 Each. Delivery is to be made to the following address: U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Transportation Office Bldg. 2710, Yuma, AZ 85365. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. All quotes shall be clearly marked with RFQ number DATM07-01-T-0014 and emailed to Cesar.Reta@yu ma.army.mil no later than 3:00 P.M. MST, September 26, 2001. Your quote must include legal company name, business size, DUNS number, CAGE Code, TAX ID number, pricing information and Contractor certifications IAW commercial item clause herein. Offers tha t fail to furnish required representations as required by 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
