Description

Background "This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation and incorporated clauses/ provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11 and DFARS Change Notice 19990416. The solicitation incorporates by reference the following clauses: FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2(a), 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.212-5,52.232-33, 252.204-7004. Inserts for 52.212-2(a) technical, past performance, and price. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(2), the Government may award without discussions. NAIC Code: 541511 This is a sole source requirement IAW 6.302-1 to Tufan Inc., 82 Pioneer Way, Mountain View, CA 94041. AutoPLAN is used to plan software development projects within NAIC. AutoTEAM is used to track time charges against approved charge codes. The support and maintenance will include free updates, new releases, upgrades and unlimited telephone, E-mail, and FAX access to the user's product support. This RFQ has the following line item: Line Item 0001 -- Renewal of AutoPLAN Support and, Maintenance for 70 Licenses. Line Item 0002 -- Renewal of Auto TEAM Support and Maintenance for 1830 Licenses. Line Item 0003 -- AutoPLAN Enterprise Toolkit (1) qty. Quote must price each line item listed above. Period of Performance is: 01 Oct 2001 through 30 Sep 2002. FOB Destination. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
