This notice is the amendment to the request for quotations ! ! ! ! All responsible sources may submit an amended quote via fax which shall be considered by the Agency. Item 0001, Aq EPA1613B Dioxin 75ea@$______. Item 0002, Sediment EPA1613B Dioxin 38ea@ $______. Location of lab performing analysis:_________________________________________________. Turnaround time 30 days from receipt of samples. FOB Dest Ft Meade MD. Samples will be received by the lab from the date or order to approximately Oct 2 2001 (no later than Dec 2 2001). Reporting limits: 1.0ng/kg in Sed 2378TDD and 2378TCDF; 5.0ng/kg for pentas, Hexas, and Heptas; and 10ng/kg for Octas. Report all results below the RL when S/N is greater than 2.5. Est Detection Limit based on the 2.5X noise for all samples and congeners. The cost of all QC samples, dilutions and reanalysis required must be incorporated into unit prices. Sample delivery group is 20 samples or less per batch delivered to the lab within a span of 14 consecutive days. In the case of removal or response action involving the transfer of any hazardous substances, pollutants or contaminants, such hazardous substances, pollutants or contaminants shall only be transferred to a facility which is operating IAW the requirements of the Solid Waste Disposal Act (42 USCA 6924 & 6925). Award will be made on the basis of price alone.
