Description

The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Safeguards and Security (OSS) intends to award a sole source contract to Jupiter Corporation. The work involves supporting the development and maintenance of all intra- and inter-office management systems; technical, administrative and operational assistance in support of personnel security activities; general administrative duties related to all aspects of personnel security processing; and researching and submitting reports related to projects of a specialized nature relevant to National Security areas. Access to classified information will be involved that must be controlled under laws governing the national security of the United States. Award of a fixed rate contract is contemplated with a twelve (12) month base period and two (2) additional six (6) month option periods. It is anticipated that a total of 33,663 Direct Productive Labor Hours (DPLH) will be utilized. There will be no formal Request for Proposal issued for this action. See Note(s) 22 *****
