NORAD-USSPC Information Superiority Conference Officers' Club Peterson AFB, Colorado Wednesday, October 10, 2001 Facility Mission: The 21st Space Wing provides missile warning and space control to North American AerospaceDefense and U.S. Space Command through a network of command and control units and ground and space sensors operated by geographically separated units of the world. The wing also hosts HQ NORAD, HQ USSPACECOM, HQ Air Force Space Command and the 302 Air Lift Wing. Also operates and supports Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Thule Air Force Base, and Clear Air Force Station. Team 21, the 21st Space Wing personnel, work throughout the Colorado Springs Complex in what is known as the Peterson Complex-Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, Cheyenne Mountain Air Station-as well as 25 locations in 9 countries around the globe.
