Description

Veterans and Service-Disabled Veterans are invited to the "The Entrepreneurs Conference for Veterans" hosted by the Riverside Community College District Procurement Assistance Center and co-sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs and Defense Contract Management Agency Santa Ana. Veteran-owned businesses will learn about the assistance available from a business and contractual aspect as a result of the passage of the Veterans Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development Act of 1999 (Public Law 106-50). The Keynote Speaker for this event is Mr. Scott Denniston, Department of Veterans Affairs, Director of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization and the Center for Veterans Enterprise. This conference will provide the opportunity to network with the Government's large prime contractors as well as some of the buying activities, such as U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, U. S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, NASA, Veterans Affairs, and the General Services Administration. Conference Location: The Meadows Banquet & Conference Center, San Bernardino International Airport, 225 N. Del Rosa, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Time: 7:30 a.m. 4:30 p.m. The registration fee for the conference is $35.00 per person. This fee covers the cost of continental breakfast and lunch. Registration fee must be received by 10/5/01 and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Late registration is $50.00 per person.
