Description

The purpose of this project is to provide a fire protection sprinkler system for the main hospital building of the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC), at Phoenix, Arizona. The successful applicant shall install a fire sprinkler system in the PIMC hospital that meets all applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes. The successful applicant shall submit shop drawings stamped by a registered engineer to the City of Phoenix Fire Department for approval. The main hospital building to be served under this project is five stories in height with a basement and the building was constructed in 1970. There is a partial sprinkler system existing in the building. No as-built drawings of the sprinkler system in the first floor and fifth floor laboratories exist. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 dollars. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and the NAICS Code is 235110 with a small business size standard of $3.0 million. Solicitation documents will be available approximately 10/11/01.
