Description

This pre-solicitation notice is for the improvement of 112 housing units in Military Family housing at Andersen AFB, Guam. The work includes, but is not limited to complete interior and exterior renovation, enlarging the master bedroom and upgrading the remaining bedrooms, modernization of the kitchen and bathroom, upgrade plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and painting. Exterior renovations include window and door replacement, provision of outdoor storage and trash enclosures, driveways, roofing and painting. Environmental work includes asbestos and lead base paint compliance. Neighborhood improvements include tot-lots/playgrounds, provision of bicycle paths/pedestrian links, landscaping, crosswalks, buffer wall, upgrade of sewer and water systems, and roadway repair. The performance period will be 640 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. It is the contractors responsibility to check the site for all changes or updates. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted. All interested sources may submit a proposal in response to the solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is responsive and offers the best value to the Government based on price, experience, and past performance. We anticipate issuing this Request for Proposal on or about 9 Nov 01. We will not issue paper copies of this solicitation.
