17. Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request For Quotation, # F32604-01-R0040. This procurement includes the requirements for the following purchase requests: F55SFS12641000, F291SF12680400, F291SF12680200. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through 2001 Basline. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification is 327390? Concrete Roadway Barriers (?Jersey Barriers?). The size standard is 500. (v) Items to be Procured: Estimated Five Hundred Ninety-nine (599) Concrete Roadway Barriers (?Jersey Barriers?), with eyeholes and connector barriers per attached specifications. Procurement of these items is based on availability of funds. All information for the subject solicitation is available at www.eps.gov, no paper solicitations or specifications will be made available. L/I 01: Estimated Five Hundred Ninety-nine (599) Concrete Roadway Barriers (?Jersey Barriers?), with eyeholes and connector bars per attached specifications. (vi) There is no additional description for the preceding line item. (vii) Required delivery shall be coordinated with 91 SFS/SFTE and 5 SFS/SFTRS. Place of delivery shall be 330 Tanker Trail, Minot AFB, ND 58705; FOB Destination. (viii) Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items (OCT 2000) is hereby incorporated by reference with no addenda to the provision. (ix) Evaluation will be based on price and price related factors.
