Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format described in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-27 dated June 25, 2001. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516 and the small business size is 500 employees. The procurement is for a Photon Counting Imager as follows: Contract Line Item number (CLIN) 0001 is for one (1) each Photon Counting Image Intensifier; 3-stage amplification with gain of 1 x 10.8 multialkali photocathode with spectral response from 160 to 900 nm Sensitivity greater than 22mA/W at 700nm. Proximity focused, P-43 phosphor output screen, 550 nm peak. 18mm diameter active area. 15 lp/mm resolution, 10 cps/mm.2 dark count. The contractor shall furnish all transportation necessary. The location for delivery is Hanscom AFB, Bedford MA. 01730.
