Description

The Architect of the Capitol is seeking firms interested in participating in a negotiated Construction Management (CM) professional services contract to perform procurement and construction phase services, testing services, claims support (if needed), and miscellaneous support services for the modernization of the coal handling system at the U.S. Capitol Power Plant with the option to provide CM services for the West Refrigeration Plant at the U.S. Capitol Power Plant. The estimated construction costs for the coal handling system is between $6 and $10 million, and the estimated construction costs for the West Refrigeration Plant is between $55 and $65 million. One CM firm fixed price contract will be awarded. The selection process will utilize source selection procedures. This solicitation is open to all small and large business firms. The RFP will be issued on or about October 20, 2001 and proposal will be due 30 calendar days after issuance, approximately November 20, 2001.
