Description

The Government is interested in obtaining companies to accomplish repair, modification and testing of Propulsion/Generation Diesel Engines onboard U.S. Navy vessels located primarily in the Norfolk, VA geographic area. The companies must furnish the necessary management, technical services, labor, material support services and equipment to perform these repairs. The services of a technical representative must be provided for on-site technical assistance, drawings, parts, special tools and guidance for disassembly, inspection, repairs, assembly, testing and adjustment of the specified equipment. This solicitation will be divided into nine different lots with varying engine types and sizes. The contractor may submit a proposal on one lot, all lots, or any combination of lots. This will be a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for one year with options for four additional years.
