Description

Request for Proposals for a Firm Fixed Price Requirement Type Consolidated Commercial Items (FAR Part 12) procurement to provide approximately 5,140,846 Plastic Trash Can Liners, Hazardous Waste bags and Infectious Waste Autoclave Bags of various sizes to VA facilities at VA Long Beach Healthcare System, Long Beach, CA, VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, Loma Linda, CA, VA San Diego Healthcare System, San Diego, CA. Plastic bags must pass the 165 Gram Dropped Dart Impact resistance test as prescribed by standard D1709-91 of the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM). Offerors must provide written certification of compliance of this standard with their offer. Bid samples are required on solicitation due date. The award will be made as a FIRM-Fixed Price Supplies contract and based primarily on price and price related factors. Supplies required under this solicitation are determined to be commercially available. Solicitation will be available on or about 9/30/01 with proposals due on or about December 15, 2001 at 4:00p.m., PST.
