Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue an RFP that will provide for a basic and two option periods to procure the following items: Up to thirty seven (37) Ring Laser Gyro Navigator (RLGN) AN/WSN-7/7A systems for surface ships and submarines; up to two thousand eight hundred and forty (2,840) man-hours of technical/test program support; provisioned items orders (PIO); and associated data. The above items will be procured from Litton Marine Systems, Inc., 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA 22901-2891. The systems are required to be delivered beginning in December 2002. As the designer and sole producer of the AN/WSN-7, Litton Marine is the only company that possesses the design and data necessary to fabricate, assemble and deliver the required systems for the Navy within the time constraints to meet mission requirements.
