Description

Fabricate and deliver FOB destination Stub Shaft Packing Box parts and one Main Shaft Wear Sleeve Assembly for a hydroelectric turbine at the Ozark Powerhouse, Ozark, Arkansas. This is a supply only; installation will be performed by the Government. The stub shaft packing parts consist of one wear sleeve assembly, two packing box assemblies, and two packing gland assemblies. The wear band material shall be stainless steel alloy and fabrication shall be from forging or centrifugal process (liquid forging) . The wear sleeve assembly shall be shipped with the half sections assembled. Numbered Note 1 applies. The NAICS code is 332111 with a size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation will be posted on the Little Rock Contracting Division website at https: //ebs.swl.usace.army.mil on or about October 9, 2001. Vendors are requested to register at the same website. The solicitation will not be available in paper format; however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when determined to b e in the Government s best interest. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for submittal of offer will not be allowed. Bids will be due on or about Novemb er 4, 2001.
