Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure various Caterpillar parts in various quantities. ONLY CATERPILLAR PARTS SHALL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS ACQUISITION. ALTERNATES SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The Request For Quotation (RFQ) shall be posted on FedBizOpps on or about 3 October 2001 with a quotation due date of 12 OCtober 2001. Delivery of all items shall be required ASAP but no later than 30 days after the date of award. Sources interested in providing a quotation will be able to download all required documents on or about the 3 October post date. Hard copies of the RFQ shall not be released from this office. Facsimile copies of quotations shall be accepted. Sources submitting quotations shall only be required to return those RFQ pages requiring fill-in or signature. This is an unrestricted procurement. See Numbered Note 22. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the Agency. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
