Description

Pattern Based Computing, SS 01-23. DARPA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Michael Miller of Johns Hopkins University has developed a unique algorithmic approach for image analysis, combining discrete and continuous functions, that DARPA is interested in applying to planning activities. He is the only person who has sufficient mastery of the techniques to assist DARPA in rapidly assessing how they need to be modified to work in the planning domain. The projected period of performance is 4 months and projected cost is $50,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Contractors capable of offering their service must respond within 15 days of the date of this notice by submitting specific technical capability to provide this service. All responses received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
