In evaluating proposals, the following criteria will be applied, with 1, 2 & 3 being of relatively equal importance, but only half the importance of criteria 4 and 5. (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services. Your firm's Registered Professional Surveyors' experience in rural boundary surveys and property line marking. Amount of time, expressed as a percent that the responsible (licensed) land surveyor will be on the project. (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. Indicate where your nearest office is in relation to the project area. If not within 50 miles radius of the Forest, indicate how you plan to provide service in a cost-effective manner. Indicate your firm's knowledge of local survey practices, records research, and the approach you have used on previous surveys to resolve problems resulting from conflicting title or physical evidence. Submit a sample surveyor's report accompanied by a plat (suitable for filing in the public record), which identifies a boundary conflict and provides an appropriate solution or conclusion. BE SURE TO RESPOND TO ALL FIVE (5) CRITERIA. Additional sheets should be used to address all evaluation criteria relative to the required services. Following the initial evaluation of the qualification and performance data submitted, discussions will occur with three or more firms considered to be the most highly qualified to provide the services.
