Description

The Colville National Forest proposes to contract for Trail Mainteanance on approximately 66.8 miles (per year) of system trails on the Newport Ranger District, Pend Oreille County, Washington. The contract work on the site will run from May 1st to September 5th. The contract will be for work in FY 2002 and will have one-year renewal option for FY 2003. The solicitation is estimated to be issued in January, when site location is not accessible. The Government has issued a prospectus, which allows potential quoters to have an opportunity to visit the representative sites while the sites are still accessible. The project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. The proposed project listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside. The project is estimated to be under $25,000 for both years.
