- Description
- Provide healthcare resources in accordance with Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153. Contractor agrees to provide a Certified Radiology Technologist, at the VA Roseburg Healthcare System, Roseburg OR. The Radiology Technologist submitted must be able to start on November 5, 2001. If candidate is not available to start on November 5, 2001, offeror will be determined non-responsive, if after award it is determined candidate cannot start on November 5, 2001, contract shall be terminated for cause and award shall be made to next lowest offer. Price is an all-inclusive rate of per diem, travel, and price/cost. Certified Radiology Technologist: 41 Work Days Starting: November 5 2001. Ending: January 4, 2002. Monday Friday 8:00 am 4:30 p.m. (There are no on call or call back duties) The Technologist must have knowledge, skills, and experience in all diagnostic radiology exams. Examinations to be performed include but not limited to: fluoroscopy (UGI, BE and IVP), basic radiography exams (bone, and soft tissue work to include the whole body), portable chest, ERCP, portable C-arm, in surgery for cystograms and gallbladders. Assignment requires knowledge and skill in services provided to an adult population, mostly geriatric. Technologist will be providing services for all outpatient and inpatient areas. The Technologist must be proficient in the use and operation of the GE R and F room with tomogram and Philips Digital R, GE portable machine and OEC portable C-arm. Knowledge of computerized tomography would be helpful but not required. The Technologist must: a. Have an unrestricted license in a US state, territory or US commonwealth; b. Speak English proficiently; c. Be a US citizen; d. Certified Radiology Technologist (provide documentation with offer); e. Radiology Technologist must be ARRT registered (provide documentation with offer); f. Have a professional degree and education applicable to medical staff members g. Provide evidence of current professional liability insurance; h. Names of most current employer(s) and two peer reference contacts; i. Current copy of BLS certifications; j. Be a team player; k. Must be computer literate, as VA Roseburg Healthcare System utilizes a computerized patient medical record; NAICS Code 621399, $5 million applies.
